well .... im finally heading back up north of the mason dixon line.. no im not gone for good.. just a few days. gonna pack all my stuff that i have left up there and ship it down... im quite excited about heading back to philly.. even if i was miserable there most of the time cause there was that thing called "last call" at the bars... *shudders* i get to see all my friends that are still there and my sister and brother.. i miss them.. haven't seen them in a few years.. and it will be good to get out of louisiana for a bit... i need a break from the french quarter... im only there for a few days but there is so much i have to do and so much more i WANT to do... vamp is staying in nola to run the bar and im gonna miss him and my boys... i wont be able to cuddle with my dogs for a few days.. at least when i get to my moms ill see my woodstock and my bodydragger.. i miss my doggie and my kittie... well gotta get back to bartending... ♥ PuNkGuRrL

So i am sitting here.... home from work..... and just smoked my last black label.... *tear* i have been smoking these things for years so now its back to camel menthol.... sigh.. im gonna miss these smokes.. i know one day while wandering aimlessly though the french quarter i shall come across a rogue pack of salem black label.. and i shall buy them ... and reminisce... *tear*

a really kick ass band i love ..... every time im supposed to see streetlight... the gods somehow look down on me and say "no.. no streetlight manifesto for you. your stuck wasting away your day listening to them in mp3 format... " gurrr so yes.. countless times i have been privy to the knowledge that streetlight manifesto was going to be playing near me... and countless times i have been screwed out of going. there have even been times that my tix were paid for and sitting at the box office waiting for my arrival... but alas... somehow i was unable to make that journey.. so tonight ... they are playing at the parish in the house of blues here in the french quarter.. i had someone covering the last half of my shift so i could go see them ... finally... i thought.. i reprieve! the gods want me to see this show! my friend deidre came down to meet me and at about 7pm we were out front waiting in line for tix... had enough time cause streetlight was coming on at 8:45... waiting.. waiting.. waiting.. SOLD OUT... WTF????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! failure.. again... what did i do that was so wrong that i cannot see this band? can i not listen to "point/counterpoint" live? why is this not meant to be? sigh... ok.. feeling better now.. ♥ PuNk

yes, PuNkGuRrL should offically recieve the "im a dumb-ass" award.. last night i got my drag cd together (btw im in a show saturday...) and moved around a few music folders.. (yes including the ipod one) ... i wanted to add my new music to my shitty busted ipod and plugged it into my lappy. a box pops up saying that my library is empty and something something something.. well me being the dumb ass i am just clicked the button that said continue or ok or just delete everything and screw me.... (it went something like that) low and behold all the music on my ipod is deleted and my library is empty.. ::sigh:: anyways.... i still have all my music on my lappy and my external hard drive and im not looking forward to adding each folder one at a time to my ipod library. i tried deleting itunes and redownloading it hoping that someone up there (or down there im not picky) loved me and would just do it automatically ... but no.... is there a faster way to do this? ♥ PuNk
