About a week ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer, spread to her liver already, no prior symtoms. She went to the ER expecting to lose her appendix, not this!
Please, pleaseeee get your cancer screenings done, many times by the time they catch it, it's just to late.
No, my friend didn't skip recommended screenings, they start at 50 and she is only 38. She is a HS coach, works out, eats right and doesn't smoke. Always on my butt about smoking, how unfair it struck her!
She has 2 small children, the youngest is just 4, she is strong and fit and willing to fight, it's a damn shame she has to fight the insurance companies too, who would rather her lay down and accept palliative care. No, No, No fuck you ASSHOLES!, worried about cost, she needs to LIVE!
