So I am reading the posts about the red shirts and laughing pretty hard. The story is obviously a fabrication to tug at your heart strings. So is Old Yeller, but at least I like the dog in that one. More importantly, the call to action is to wear a red shirt. WTF?! How does this truly support the troops. By giving them a morale boost? I have a better option. Bring them home. Then, instead of them thinking, "wow, all those people wore red shirts", they could be thinking, "cool, I didn't get shot and am home with my family". Seems a bit better, doesn't it. So how do we do it? Easy, write your Congress person a real letter, not an email. Every letter they receive counts as 10,000 voices of their constituants. The only thing that makes them work is the fear they will get voted out. The more voices they hear in favor of pulling the troops, the quicker it will happen. You can get real address info here:
