Here are the 5 BCS bowl games and my predictions
National title game: Ohio State v FLorida. This is going to be a blowout. Florida has no chance of stopping buckeye QB Troy Smith and the running attack of Antonio Pittman combined with the aerial threat of Gonzales and Teddy Ginn Jr are going to prove to be way too much for newest cryface Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators. OSU wins 42-21
Rose Bowl: University of Michigan v University of Southern Cal. This is going to be another Big 10 Pac 10 classic. Unlike the 2003 rose bowl in which Usc won by 14 Michigan has all the weapons it needs to topple SC coach Pete Carrol and his limping trojans. Michigans defensive front 4 are going to beat on Trojan QB John David Booty all day long. Michigan wins 35-14
Sugar Bowl: LSU v Notre Dame. The BCS is going to have controversy over sending Florida to the title game instead of Michigan but even if Michigan had gone to the title game the Bcs still screwed up. How Notre Dame managed to get into a BCS bowl is beyond me. THe Fighting Irish won 10 games this year losing only 2. HOWEVER that being said the FIghting Irish lost big to both of their main rivals. Michigan went down to South Bend the third week of the season and gave the Irish an absolute ass kicking in their own backyard then the Irish went out to souther cal where the Trojans laid a 22 point beating down on charlie weis and crew. The only chance the Irish have of winning this game is if LSU forgets to show up and I dont see that happening LSU wins big 42-28
Orange Bowl: Louisville v Wake Forest. This is the most intriguing game in the championship series because it is the first BCS appearance for either team. Ive seen both teams play numerous times this season and this one is going to be too close to predict however Im going to say Lousiville tops the Demon Deacons 35-28
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma v Boise State. This could have UPSET written all over it. Boise State is going to have to put its hopes on the back of running back Ian Johnson. Oklahoma's run defense has been suspect at times this year and if there's anyone that can exploit that Ian Johnson can. OU on the other hand has done well this year despite almost constant turbulence in the locker room. If running back Adrian Petersen was healthy I'd say OU wins in a blowout but he's out for the year so Bob Stoops will have to find another way to get his team into the endzone. In an upset Boise State wins 28-27 and finishes in the top 5 for the first time in school history. Way to go Broncos!
