growing up in a city so close to Boston that you frequented Boston a lot because whenever Fri/Sat night rolls around the questions, “what should we do tonight?”most always have the answer: “Let’s go into Boston” because there’s ALWAYS something happening in Boston, whether its a concert, a local band’s show, new bar/restaurant opening, or even just to walk around on a gorgeous night. Boston is TWO cities away from me....its just a nightmare
now, to see
the city like this, shaken, destroyed like a war zone, is just
shocking, feeling like a nightmare.
every time they show the explosion, all i can look at is all the
different flags it happened behind, i cant help but think of the irony….

I feel truly humbled by the support from other states. Because of our sports rivalries, I feel NY deserves a special mention. If you know anything about the NFL & MLB, you know that ours is the most heated rivalries of all time....except for the days following 4/15. NY paper showed a building & flags w/NY <3 B (for Boston) the NeilD song "SweetCaroline," played at every RedSox game blared thru Yankee Stadium as fans sang along w/their support....it was the most heartwarming gestur.
