There is no way for love to exist without the existence of hate. Love is positive. Hate is negative. And every positive has a negative, and this is no less true to love. If we love goodness, we must of necessity hate evil. By the same measurement, if we love truth, we hate faslehood. The world turns through a positive force while it negates that which conflicts wiht it. The bravest fearlessness is bornof love. Our metal is largely mental. What affects the mind affects the courage. Every strong backbone grow out of the heart, and what influences it most is love.
Love is an emotion regulated by the lover rather than the person being loved. Our love for someone is dependent upon who we are, not upon the merits of the recipient.
