My brother actually smiled today and the Doctor says the prognosis is positive and he told me that with lots of therapy Kent has a very good chance of regaining all movement again. He is starting to speak a little now and I can understand him while 2 weeks ago I could barely make out what he was saying. He sends big hugs to his friends here and is very thankful for your prayers. My brother is not a religious person but he is very spiritual. He asks those who have paid for famp runs (???) to be patient as he keeps an accurate ledger and will look after it all when he is well enough again. If things don't turn out he will show me what to do and I will look after it for him I will try to keep you all informed of his progress. It is hard sometimes as I am really busy at work right now. Keep the prayers and well wishes coming and I will keep Kent informed about who sends prayers and well wishes his way. We just got him a new phone with a data plan so that he will be able to contact people himself as soon as he is able.
Hi My name is Paul and I'm Kent's brother. My brother had a stroke while being operated on last week and is now finally able to get a few words out and he asked me to open up his laptop and say a few words. We are all praying that he might be able to move again but the docs say that he has a 50-50 chance of being mobile again. My brother has always been the strongest among our family and is a fighter so we give him better than 50-50 chance to be on his feet again. He has asked me to answer any questions you may have. I will check for messages every day or two and answer as best I can. He sends his love to those he felt close to. I will ask you to keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
