kitkat's blog: "Bad News"

For anyone who keeps up with my blogs you know I just buried my grandfather this past wednesday. However the bad news didnt stop there, last night my family and I was informed that my Uncle Skip had laid in his house for two days after having a very very bad stroke. Weather it was the stroke or the delay of medical attention he suffered from having over half his brain in a pool of blood. Thus causing him to bleed from the nose and mouth. Within n hour of being found he was taking to the local hopsital and put on life support. By the time I got to the hopsital I noticed the medical air lift chopper landing and deep down I knew it was for my uncle. Within second of seeing him the chopper indeed take him to UC hopsital where four hours later he was pronounned brain dead two hours after that they took him off life support. Now for some reason my family doesnt seem to understand why I am taking my uncle's my death so hard. Grant that he is my uncle by marriage but to me that is beside the point. Uncle Skip was a very hard man who had disowned his childern and had recently tore himself away from my aunt. But to me that dosent matter now. I just want grive for him and not have to hear how horrible of man he was. Sadly enough what adds to hurt is that he had wanted things done his way and sadly with his childern involed they are not following his last wishs. At this point in time I am going on about 3 hours of sleep and may God forgive me cause I simply ran out of tears hours ago... So as I sit here remembering my uncle please PLEASE if there is a family member that you have grown distane from or havent expressed your love to do it! In flash you might not have the chance.

Most of you guys dont know but my grandfather has recently been very ill thusly in and out of the hopsital. This morning the nursing home in which he was staying at called us to inform us that as of 6:00 am this morning my grandfather had passed away. Personal I never got the chance to get to know the man however it doesnt take away the hurt and pain of losing a family member. My sadden is drawfed compared to my mom's, she had just within the last year become a large part of her father's life. To see her pain so deeply only futhers my own. My mom rushed to Landcaster this morning and had some how managed to swallow her pain for the moment and do everything that needs to be done. I however have sit back and wondered on how can I possibly help or comfort her in this time? (shakes head) In notice I wont be around much for the next couple of days but please any and all adivce is welcomed.

well at 5 tonight my brother-in-law brought puppy in to see the vet, and right away I started to cry but the I went in with him and together we waited for the vet to come in. She came in and after talking to her we decided to run some more test (most blood work) afterwards we found out that puppy did in fact suffer from a stroke HOWEVER some of the blood work looked promising. So after talking it with the vet and deciding that perhaps a little more time and some new medicine would be worth a try. But my brother-in-law stated if she isnt any better within the next week he is going to put her down reguardless. So just to let everyone know puppy has got a second chance for about a week!

For most of you that have either commented or rated my photo's have seen the picture of my sister's dog that had a stroke last week. Well since then she hasnt (even with medicine) regained any body fuction, meaning she hasnt drank or eaten. Also she cant even feel the urge to go potty when she needs to, thus pottying on herself. Now take it she is in the age group of 17 to 19 the vet told us she would be okay with the medicine. But almost a week later we have seen no improvements. I suggested to my sister to call the vet's office and see what they say. The vet that I am very fond of said to my sister.. If the puppy isn't 1. not eating.. 2. not drinking.. 3. pottying regularly then we need to see her again however it sounds like (after reading the puppy's chart) that her kidney's are giving out on her thusly you might want to think about putting her down. So my sister calls me and admits since the puppy is suffering she is going to take her to the vet and have her put down, however she dont have the money to do it right away. I being the good sister (and in tears) told her that if she pays for the vet visit I will pay to put the puppy down. Puppu will go to the vet's later on this evening. So please bear with me if I dont mind me if I am not my usual talkive and bouncey self.. Griving for the puppy that helped me get over my fear of large dogs. God watch over my beautiful puppy when you take her.
