Alright, so, i need peoples opinions.
My daughters father is in county lock up, we've been apart for a lil over a year. He married a girl a few months after we split... then divorced her a few months after that. Well his little sister that i got along great with started talkin mad shit about me after his lil "wifey" came along... wifey, wtf word is that? lol....
Well his lil sister is comin back up here to Mich to visit from Kentucky. Heres my problem.
She wants to meet up with me to see her niece. I don't want to keep his family from seeing her and being in her life. I grew up without my fathers family around, and i think it kinda messed me up, and i don't want that for my daughter. But my thoughts are, why should i always put forth more effort to keep them in her life, when they don't hardly do anything to stay in it themselves? They don't call, they don't write, they barely get in touch with me on the net to see how she's doing... The last that any of them saw her was in Dec of '08. And I'm kinda scared that they'll try to steal her away and that I would never see her again.
So, should I take her to see her Aunt Kimmy? Or no? |
