Last night after one of the cycling classes I coach I was talking to one of the female athletes. She is young (upper 20's), somewhat tall like me (5'8"), naturally blond & very pretty. She seems fun, easygoing & smart. She said she rarely gets dates. Some guys she has known since she moved here a year ago recently confessed that she totally intimidated them as an attractive, tall blond. She & I both have many of the qualities that we thought guys dug like being active, working out & staying healthy, into the outdoors/camping etc. She went so far to say if someone told her she was doing somethng wrong she would change but none of her friends have a clue & I certainly don't. While my seperated status leaves my dating options somewhat limited (obviously) she is very available so I am wondering if this is a common thing.
So...are strong, athletic women too intimidating for the average guy? |
