i have had type 1 diabeties since i was 11....
and for years i've been on the verge of breaking a needle off in someones arm when they suggest that my condition can be cured....hear it all the time, or that i somehow caused it to myself by eating too much sugar...
And the fact that no one ever hears about type 1 in the media (when there are programs about all sorts of other conditions) and there are ho support groups for adults with type 1 really pisses me off....
brings me to the question....am i just bitching too much, or do i have a legitimate point...?
