Sissy's blog: "Angels"

I thought I saw an angel out of the corner of my eye, she was perched upon a trelis where roses grow along one side., and I think I saw her smiling as she gazed at me below, she must have come to visit along with the new fallen snow. I wish I could invite her in to warm her little hands; and ask her for a blessing to bring peace upon the land. angels are very special, so, I wouldn't dare impose, just to have her in my garden will bring beauty to every rose. I thought I saw an angel out of the corner of my eye, but it could have been my sister just come to sit and spy. for she often does ,from time to time, come check upon her sis. (the only person on this earth that I could truly miss) sisters are angels too, in there own special way. who else would God have watch over me each night and every day?

She is a warm summers afternoon that brings a smile to my day. She is like a sweet peach. She is tough like a steel-toed boot, and can handle any job. Any songs about friends whould remind you of her. She is as tough as steel, but she has her soft sides. She doesn't need a car, because she is my guardian angel with wings. She doesn't live in another time period beacuse she live her life day to day. She is the sound of rain-drops hitting a tin roof, that calms you down after a hard and depressing day. She brings you love, joy, and tears. She is like a valley with wide open fields, where she runs free and never lets anyone or anything hold her back. She is like the blue sky all around watching out for me. She is a dear and loving friend, I love you for always being there. 3/9/2006

When I'm depressed, and feeling low. And I've gone as far as I can go. I ask myself, what will I do? That's when God sends you to me. We have someone, or so they say, To watch over us day by day. You help me more than words can say, And keep me going along the way. For those out there who don't believe, In angels unaware. Have truly never had the joy, Of meeting someone who really cares. You've been my strength, when I was weak, My joy when I am sad. And someday when this life is over, A crown awaits for you I'm sure. So thanks for all the love, And kindness that you shown. And hope the looking after me, Was not such a terrible load.
