choices

I have been thinking about my life the choices I have made. All of us makes choices in our lives bout are the choices we make the right one always. It is true that we do not make the right choice everytime but what is more important is how we see it. I have come to learn to see things in a more poitive way and take things as they come. What is the point of crying or telling yourself how sad your life is. I have learned tolook at life in a more positive way, like having a loving family who loves me no matter what or having a boyfriend who would do anything to make you happy. It could be just the feeling of knowing that I have food to eat everyday and a roof over my head, small things which I have not noticed so much because of my negligence. Life does have its share of sorrows but with that comes its share of happiness as well. God will never give us heartache or problems which we cannot handle and all the things that happens in our life happens to us only because we can handle it and it will also make us stronger. One song which I have learnt as a child popped up in my head one day and it just made me smile. It made me realize that in this world where everything happens so fast, we have forgotten to appeciate the small yet important blessings that we have. "Count your blessings Name them one by one Count your blessings See what God has done Count your blessings Name them one by one Count your many blessings See what God has done When upon life's billows You are tempest tossed When you are discouraged Thinking all is lost Count your many blessings Name them one by one And it will surprise you What the Lord has done. "

bored

well..... as most of you know I have moved to a new city to be with my guy and settle down and things has changed drastically for me. I do love the feeling of being together with my guy after being in a long distance relationship for over 3 years, but sometimes I ask myelf whether it was the right choice to make. I am now keeping my career on hold and I left everything behind, guess this is what has to be done to start a life with the person you love. Things will go on surely but slowly, but I miss all my friends and everyone I left behind.

This is a true story from the WordPerfect helpline. Needless to say, the help desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing the Word Perfect organization for "Termination without Cause." Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee with a caller: Customer Support: "Ridge Hall computer assistant; may I help you?" Caller: "Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect." CS: "What sort of trouble?" C: "Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away." CS: "Went away?" C: "They disappeared." CS: "Hmm. So what does your screen look like now?" C: "Nothing." CS: "Nothing?" C: "It's blank; it won't accept anything when I type." CS: "Are you still in WordPerfect, or did you get out?" C: "How do I tell?" CS: "Can you see the C: prompt on the screen?" C: "What's a sea-prompt?" CS: "Never mind. Can you move the cursor around on the screen?" C: "There isn't any cursor, I told you, it won't accept anything I type." CS: "Does your monitor have a power indicator?" C: "What's a monitor?" CS: "It's the thing with the screen on it that looks like a TV. Does it have a little light that tells you when it's on?" C: "I don't know." CS: "Well, then look on the back of the monitor and find where the power cord goes into it. Can you see that?" C: "Yes, I think so." CS: "Great. Follow the cord to the plug, and tell me if it's plugged into the wall." C: ".......Yes, it is." CS: "When you were behind the monitor, did you notice that there were two cables plugged into the back of it, not just one?" C: "No." CS: "Well, there are. I need you to look back there again and find the other cable." C: ".......Okay, here it is." CS: "Follow it for me, and tell me if it's plugged securely into the back of your computer." "I can't reach." CS: "Uh huh. Well, can you see if it is?" C: "No." CS: "Even if you maybe put your knee on something and lean way over?" C: "Oh, it's not because I don't have the right angle - it's because it's dark." CS: "Dark?" C: "Yes - the office light is off, and the only light I have is coming in from the window." CS: "Well, turn on the office light then." C: "I can't." CS: "No? Why not?" C: "Because there's a power outage." CS: "A power... A power outage? Ah, Okay, we've got it licked now. Do you still have the boxes and manuals and packing stuff your computer came in?" C: "Well, yes, I keep them in the closet." CS: "Good. Go get them, and unplug your system and pack it up just like it was when you got it. Then take it back to the store you bought it from." C: "Really? Is it that bad?" CS: "Yes, I'm afraid it is." C: "Well, all right then, I suppose. What do I tell them?" CS: "Tell them you're too stupid to own a computer."

Don't quit

Don't Quit When things go wrong, as they sometimes will When the road you're trudging seems all uphill When the funds are low and the debts are high And you want to smile, but you have to sigh When care is pressing you down a bit Rest, you must - but don't you quit Life is queer with its twists and turns As everyone of us sometimes learns And many a failure turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out Don't give up, though the pace seems slow You might succeed with another blow Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit It's when things seem worst, That you MUST NOT QUIT! by Quinton Howell
Dreaming I used to dream of eyes so blue And loving arms to hold me. I used to dream of heroic knights And how gracious they would be. I used to dream of how I wouldn’t settle For anything less than best. I used to dream of how he would majestically Lay all fears to rest. I used to dream of fairy tales, How wondrous would they be I used to dream of story books All patterned after me. I used to dream of a lot of things, But the moment I met you, I immediately stopped dreaming, Because all of my dreams came true. - Tina Cerruti -
Footprints in the Sand One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?” The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.” Mary Stevenson
Thought I sould try updating stuffs here...nothing that is written by me personally but just few things which I love and touches my heart!!! and here is the first one,a poem I love by one of my favorite poet :-) Love's Philosophy The fountains mingle with the river, And the rivers with the ocean; The winds of heaven mix forever With a sweet emotion; Nothing in the world is single; All things by a law divine In another's being mingle-- Why not I with thine? See, the mountains kiss high heaven, And the waves clasp one another; No sister flower could be forgiven If it disdained its brother; And the sunlight clasps the earth, And the moonbeams kiss the sea;-- What are all these kissings worth, If thou kiss not me?
