THIS POEM WAS WROTE FOR ME BY A VERY DEAR FRIEND WHO TAK'ES TIME TO FIND OUT WHAT'S BEHIND OF MY MASK.THANK YOU HUN.
Like a devil she arose into my life; mysterious and intense. My soul could not deny her contaminated innocence. Confusion and delight beckons for her sweet chaotic mind. Her words are dark, sinister and doubtful, yet so very kind. An Angel in the twilight, could this dream be true? A mystery descended from above. Compassion and charm with a sense of alarm she unveils her heart so blue. I gently welcome her to a life she does not know. For she has always been caged and confined, In a river that does not flow. A curse of radiant beauty she reveals to the world. But deep inside of this goddess façade hides a frightened little girl. A girl that wants to play and laugh, a girl that wants to smile. To release this girl and free her heart I would travel many a mile. I sit and think of the possibly great charities she offers to the world. If only the feelings of a demons heart could be dismissed and the angel could unfurl. Lonely tears of emptiness rain inside her soul. She needs the embrace of appreciation and trust. Only they can make her whole. To navigate her words of sadness and woe, I thrust into the void. She shows me great signs of exuberance and life. She’s an entity of compassion, love and faith I surely would employ. She looks to me and I to her to ease the pains and fears. I beg to be her drive for life, her reason for no more tears. So close to me she reaches from so very far away. Oceans and mountains divide us…but we long to be close some day. Her presence caresses me, her soul it kisses me and brings day into my night. This devilish woman, this gentle little girl…This Angel in the Twilight. |
