My best friend lives up in Anchorage (well not really she just goes to UAA). So we planned this little vacation .where I go up to Anchorage for 3 weeks and than we both drive back down to Ketchikan.
It all started on May 4th when I woke up early that morning to get on the 7:30 boat to go over to the airport. I get over to the airport and see that my plane is running late because of mechanical problems. But I headed up leaving Ketchikan at 9 o¡¦clock. First I stopped in Wrangle and then Petersburg and than the last stop was in Juneau. I arrived in Anchorage around 3:30 and Athena was waiting for me outside of the airport. Her car was very dirty!!...hehe¡Ksorry Athena just thought to tell everyone but the first thing we did was went through a car wash¡Kyeah it was a lot of fun¡Khehe¡Kafter the car wash we went to the university and I got to eat college food for the first time¡Kit was actually pretty good. I also got to meet some of Athena¡¦s friends. While we were sitting in the commons eating we ran into the Jessica¡¦s and Eric!! It was fun!! After dinner we drove around for awhile and than headed back to the dorms and I had to sleep on the stupid hard floor!!...how rude huh??
May 5th ¡V this day started pretty early like at 1 in the morning because I was really hyper and I was also cleaning Athena¡¦s dorm room!! (IT WAS A HUGE MESS) than after sleeping for a little while and taking some of Athena¡¦s stuff to storage we drove out to Palmer to meet Kayla (my future roommate) at this little restaurant. We had to go out there at midnight because this dude that Kayla has the hotts for was working but the funny thing was he didn¡¦t even come over to our table. I also met the boys here Christopher and Danyle¡K.they are some weird kids!! Oh yeah and Athena order this corn flitters but I thought they looked like poop flitters¡Kyeah¡Kgood times¡Kthan after eating poop we went back to Kayla¡¦s house and drank a little. Than ended up staying over night there and sleeping with Danyle and Athena in the same bed¡Khehe¡Kit was fun!!!
May 6th - cleaned dorm and moved the rest of Athena¡¦s stuff to storage and also packed up the car. I had to sleep on the floor again!!..Not very fun!!!...the floors are kind of hard to UAA¡Khehe
May 7th - Moved out of the dorm and into the Super 8!!..Woohoo¡Kparty at the Super 8!!..hehe¡KKayla came into town pretty early to help us move the rest of Athena¡¦s stuff into storage!! The gung of boys and us three girls helped me and Athena move into the Super 8. The guy at the front desk thought we were weirdoes!! Than after getting cozy at the Super 8 we all headed to Chucky E. Cheese!!...OMG!!...i got carded at the door it was great!! Me Athena and Kayla all got carded but none of the boys did¡Kso not fair oh well I guess that just means I don¡¦t look me age¡Khehe¡KChucky Cheese was a lot of fun!! I felt 5 again! After having soo much fun at C.C we all just hung out and drove around than Kayla and Christopher went back home because they were getting sleepy and Kayle was heading back home that next morning. So Danyle and Jeremiah stay the night at the hotel!!!!!...yeah fun times¡Khehe
May 8th ¡V this day was a pretty boring we didn¡¦t do anything. We just chilled in the hotel room but than we did drive around and stuff at like midnight!!...I miss those late night drives it was lots of fun!!!!
May 9th ¡V SHOPPING!!!...I did lots of shopping this day and also got my super cool nerdy glasses¡Khehe¡Kthanks Athena and Kayla for picking them out!! Than after our all day shopping fun we hung out with the boys!!!
May 10th ¡V lol¡Kme and Athena hung out with the boys again and drove around tell we ended up at hilltop. Jeremiah and Christopher decide it would be fun to blow stuff up while up in hilltop¡Kit was lots of fun but holy cow it was really cold!! Than Athena and the boys walked the trails (I would of but I was freezing and also didn¡¦t have the best shoes on).
May 11th ¡V we slept almost all day and than went shopping again. Pretty laid back day didn¡¦t do much!!...jeez¡Khow boring and on a Friday night too!!...man Athena we suck¡Khehe
May 12th ¡V got up in the morning and went to the 5th avenue mall with the boys but didn¡¦t stay very long because Danyle realized he locked his keys in his car!!...lol¡Kstupid heads!!!...it was really funny!!...i also flew a HUGE kite and this kite isn¡¦t just a little square shaped one either it was HUGE!!....I FLEW IT!!!...my arms were killing me afterwards but it was funny because me and Athena just went to the park to waste some time and Donny (the kite owners) came and asked me if I wanted to fly the kite and I said YES and he just walked away!!..Athena was laughing at me the whole time because I was winning because it was HUGE!!!...hehe¡Kit was really pretty colors to it was, purple black white and blue!!! After all of that excitement we all went back t the hotel and just hung out and Danyle stayed with me again!!
May 13th - Went to Chucky Cheese again with Christopher, Jeremiah, and Danyle!! Than we all drove out to Palmer and built a fire and the boys blew stuff up again!!...than Jeremiah ran around the fire nakey!!...hehe¡Kit was pretty funny and we weren¡¦t drinking or anything¡Klol¡KChristopher was suppose to do it too but he chicken out of it!!...pussy!!...it was a really fun night but also kinda creepy because we saw 2 dead bear bodies!! That was some creepy shit!
May 14th ¡V After having such a fun last night we didn¡¦t do much this day just walked around the malls and did alittle shopping but not much but we did go to Denny and I got some fake ass fish!! It made me soo mad!!..oh well¡KFUCK DENNYS!! Than after all of that fun we went and hung out with Joe and watched a movie and than went back to the hotel and slept!!...pretty fun day I guess
May 15th - woke up in time to go to Applebees for dinner. Than got a phone call from the boys telling us to go out to palmer to have another bomb fire!! So we drove out to Palmer and started another fire. I got kinda druck so I don¡¦t really remember what happened but I do remember Danyle punching a tree over keys and than him running away!!...freak¡Khad me worried shitless!! Nice going buddy¡Khehe¡Kthat was a really fun night¡Kwe than left the beach around 3ish and drove back to anchoagre. Than I went off with some other person and me drove around I think. I don¡¦t really remember what we did! I got back to the hotel around 7ish I think! I pretty much hit the bed and passed out!!
May 16th ¡V finally did laundry after putting it off for the past three nights¡Khehe¡KI didn¡¦t want to do it but I had no clothes!!...i also woke up with the worst hang over ever¡Khehe¡Kit sucked really bad but yet I was still out doing stuff unlike the boys that were too hung over too do stuff with us but we did later on go out and get them from Palmer to go to the strip but before we did that we ate at TFI Fridays¡Kthat¡¦s some weird tasting food. I didn¡¦t like it that much!! Than after eating we went to the skating park with Jeremiah and hung out there for awhile!! It was a really nice park I liked it a lot!! Than later that night we drove to get the boys to go to the strip club but the club was closed!! The boys weren¡¦t very happy about that!! It was kind of funny but we went to the castle instead and I guess that was kind of fun but that was like me third time going in there¡Khehe¡Kwe than went to Denny¡¦s and just talked and ate than drove our boys back to Palmer!!
May 17th ¡V Packed the car and moved out of the hotel! Than had to go get the car fixed before we headed out. While waiting for the car to get fixed we walked around the Sears Mall and walked down to the bagel place! It was really yummy! Than after the car was fixed we drove out to Palmer to say bye to the boys¡K ƒ¼ We left Palmer around 7:30!!...than while driving we saw a caribou Athena drove it off the road. When driving to Glen Allen we jumped the car 3 times and I hit my head on the roof!!...that really did hurt Athena¡Kjeez¡Kit was a lot of fun!!
May 18th ¡V Drove all night!! Arrived in Haines at 7:30 in the morning!! We got a hotel at the Eagles Nest and played at this really cool park!! We had a lot of fun people were looking at us funny but we were playing with only 5 hours of sleep with in the last 3 days!!! We also walked around the cute little town!! Than went back to the hotel and passed out!!
May 19th ¡V Woke up at 3:30 because Athena was walking back and forth in the room¡Kgot up and got ready than went to the little cute bakery to eat breakfast!! Than after that awesome breakfast we arrived at the ferry boat!! We got to the ferry at like 8:30 and we just sat there for about 2 hours waiting for the stupid boat to come in! Well waiting for the boat Athena found my very first grey hair!!...it was a very sad experience and never want to have that experience again¡Khehe¡Klifted Haines at 11 am!! While on the ferry we watched Barn Yard!!...that is such a cute movie!! Athena also lost her phone with in the first hour we were on the boat!! Jeez what an airhead!!...hehe¡Kthan went and slept and slept and slept¡K
May 20th ¡V I was on the big blue boat!!!! Got home around 11am!!
I miss Anchorage so much!! I had the best time while I was up there but ill be back up there in just a few months!!! I hope you guys enjoy reading this because I had lots of fun writing it and remembering everything was also really fun I think I might of lifted out some stuff but that¡¦s ok!!...enjoy¡KI MISS YOU GUYS!!!!!
