I was recently sent packing in a relationship with someone (who if you look at my profile it's no mystery).
There are far too many little twists and turns, so I'll save the most relevant ones for this. The final straw for her was when I told her to put up or shut up. She has been fu-marrried for awhile to a guy that she repeatedly told me was "just a friend". I had no real problem with that, there is a story behind it and I appreciate it.
My problem was that she could not bring herself to recognize out relationship that was (supposedly - and I do mean supposedly) real. She showered him with all the love and affection to the point that to all the world, not just myself, it looked like a real relationship.
She (after she promised she was quitting fu) threw up a background which was basically an homage to him (You rock my world.... ) and I had had enough and called her on the carpet for it. I also sent him a note congratulating him on being the better man, and asking her to just take good care of him. Yes I was 100% in love, and no I am not a saint, and when I told her I sent him the note - she flipped and that was that. Going from I love you and want to spend my life with you to just turning off the faucet and disappearing and blocking me on every site we share.
My question is... was I wrong about how I felt and demanded that a relationship in real life (supposedly) should be a relationship celebrated everywhere? |
