Aims of Yoga

Aims of Yoga By Pak. Hardjanto 1. To change dogmatic belief into personal knowledge so that, for the practitioner, religion is no longer just dogmatic belief but becomes direct knowledge. 2. Through Yoga, the paradoxical unity of life (spirit) becomes a reality with all of its consequences, the picture of which is like air; air in a bottle, a glass, or a pipe is all one, only the shape is different. Thus is life or spirit with its different forms, a meta-physical reality which consequently causes the Law of Karma-Phala to arise (that is, the reaping of the fruits of one's actions towards one's fellow man), based on the metaphysical truth: the unity of life. 3. Through yoga, one can overcome the power of will, feeling, and thought and even control will, feeling, and thought because one has mastered their principles. 4. Will The Sun Self ) Feeling The Moon Self )= constituting the trinity Thought Nimbus ) soul of man. 5. Yoga gives the knowledge that heaven and hell are not just anywhere but inside man himself: 6. Sapta-Loka / Seven-Loka (=Heaven): 1.Bhuh, 2.Bhuvah, 3.Svah, 4.Mahah, 5.Janah, 6.Tapah, 7.Satya. Sapta-Tala / Seven-Tala(=Hell) : 1.Atala, 2.Vitala, 3.Sutala, 4.Talatala, 5.Rasatala, 6.Mahatala, 7.Patala. 7. Yoga changes God, including Its Powers, from an abstract concept into something that is alive in man. The practice of yoga activates the Third Eye. In the activation of the Third Eye, the sub-atomic particles of the physical sciences, such as protons, electrons, and neutrons, can be seen directly. 8. Without yoga, which opens and activates the Third Eye, it is impossible for the religions, which are dogmatic as well as paradoxical when viewed rationally, to be able to compete with rational science, the consequence of which is the death of religion and God the Creator. 9. If anything is capable of bringing back the glory of agama-diin-religion so that it can totally control man's actions, even in the field of science, it is the Practice of Yoga because man is able to visualize the elements until they become a concrete reality within the vision of the yogi. 10. To overcome the loneliness of old age through uniting with Universal Life. 11. To overcome the fear of death through knowledge of all aspects of life after death. 12. To realize the unity of the vertical line of agama-diin-religion to the point that there is harmony between the different religions. On the other hand, without yoga, harmony between different agama-diin-religion is a forced illusion. 13. Yoga enables man to attain liberation (Moksha, Sanskrit for liberation, or Muksha, old Javanese for liberation with the vanishing of the physical body) so that he is freed from the cycle of reincarnation of spirit, or death-life, death-life...
