so... I blame halo 3 for getting me back into shooter games haha but! shortly after the halo ... I got sucked into Resistance: Fall of Man. The story is based in the 1940s and is basically kind of like a world war...but with aliens. CRAZY aliens that infect humans and turn them into some kinda freaky hybrid lol There's a co-op feature (yay ^_^) but overall it was pretty cool! Their grenade selections are awesome (air fuels rawk) there's even one called the hedgehog that pops up and shoots out these massive spiney needles everywhere. There are stages where driving both human and alien tanks are needed .... so if you're like me and can't operate vehicles in video games if you're life depended on it.. just a heads up haha >_< lol that's where co-op comes in handy...i always jump on the gunner seat =P It's a cool game I would recommend it (after halo of course!) but the AI in the game is pretty smart too...there were plenty of times where we had to strategize before going into the next fight b/c we died so many times just running in guns blazing lol O_o I haven't tried the online play yet but some of those people on there are crazy good. maybe once we get through the super-human level I'll feel more confident ^_^;

so it's been awhile since i sat down and seriously played a video game ... with a storyline/plot. I don't count fighting games b/c those you can pick up and put down and not worry about forgetting what's going on in the story. nothing against fighter games though! i love them too ^_^ anyhow! i just wanted to broadcast how awesome Gears of War was! i would recommend it to...everyone! I loved the creatures I really liked the weapons (being able to use the chainsaw = awesome) wish I picked up more cogs though ^_^;; I must admit there were even times when the ambushes scared the living crap outta me lol a sign of a really good game haha this makes me really look forward to gears of war....2?? (dunno if theyre gonna make one..but i really hope so!) and it also makes me really really want halo3 to release!!! lol ok =P

mmhmm....after preordering...and standing in line for 3 hours...and finishing it on legendary... i would say i would totally do it all over again and even tack on another 3 hours in line! hahaha The Halo series is quite possibly my favorite of all shooter games. I'm glad that the storyline continued and for the most part I forgive them for how halo 2 ended lol the new weapons were awesome! and i discovered that i really really like chucking grenades ^_^;; it was just bad when you stuck a grenade on one of them and they actually RAN AT YOU. lol then it was all jumping back and shooting yelling 'get away!!' lol I also don't know why my friends and i didn't think of this earlier but for the multi player gaming we actually took turns setting up the weapon/regen rules for the stage lol one free for all would be nothing but rocket launchers and grenades the other one would be nothing but sniper rifles and canons sooo much fun and craziness ^_^; Unfortunately I have yet to master any of the vehicles but that's next on my list! I will learn how to mow down flood in a warthog!! =P
