I know a lot of you have opinions on rating pics, and that the tradition is that a picture either gets a rating of "10" or doesn't get rated at all. However, if that is so, then why have numbers 1-9 available for ratings? Wouldn't it simply be easier to have a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" rating system?
Frankly, I think that if a particular picture is rated at less than "10" then the person who did the rating is well within his or her right to rate it as such. That said, it doesn't necessarily mean that the person being rated is unattractive, or even unattractive to the person doing the rating. It may well be that the photo is simply not 10-worthy, and for reasons other than the person IN the photo.
I, personally, tend to see the tradition of "rate it a 10 or don't rate it" as, somehow, Political Correctness run amok in the world of Fubar. At any rate, I say, "be nice, but be truthful, also."
Enjoy the day!
