At 40, I have come to realize that though I still harbor a little hope for 'fairy tale endings', I know that my ending will most likely never end that way. I finally gave up on 'being swept off my feet', 'finding that perfect someone', or 'living happily ever after'. Life is pretty simple.... it will screw you every chance it gets so you might as well just deal with it.
I have stopped hoping things will get better. I no longer believe that one day things will better. I didn't sign up here to meet 'Mr. Right' cause I don't believe he exists. I came here to maybe make a few friends.
Oh yeah... fyi. If you send me a "form letter", that's a good way of ensuring that I will NOT add you to my friends list, or if you are already on my friends list, it's a good way to get removed. If you don't have the time to be original, don't bother... cause I sure won't.

Just an FYI.... Today (12/28) I patted myself on the back.
As of today I am 1 year smoke free!!
