A Tribute To Our Military
I may never get to meet you,
And you may never get to meet me.
But I want to say thank you very much,
Because of you I can live free.
You go into war and fought and died,
We were buried side by side.
We did all we could,
Fighting for our freedom,
Like any American should.
My mother and my father my sisters and my brothers,
Don’t weep for me, my souls in Heaven,
And that’s a place I need to be…..
I’ll always be with you in your heart mind and spirit….
Rejoice for me for I fought,
To set this country free…..
You have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
For that we're eternally grateful to you,
The job you do is dangerous, and we should all salute you.
You go where ever your services are needed
You go without hesitation or argument.
Your work is appreciated yes indeed.
There is no possible way that we can ever repay you,
For the work you do, and the sacrifices you made.
The cost of our freedom from you has been paid.
Your loved ones are proud of you,
And all of us as Americans are very proud too.
Thank you very much for making us free,
Because of you we are a proud nation,
And isn't that how it should be?
We as Americans owe you more then you will ever know.
Your work continues day by day,
We as Americans owe you more,
Then words could or will ever say.
God Bless each and every one of you,
We're extremely grateful, and we all love you.
