You know, I'd really like a raise but... I'm a temp, so little chance of that happening until if/when they hire me. Since I prepare invoices for signing for my little department, I know I'm also the highest paid temp (from my agency) in the office. I make about $5 more an hour.
I'm crossing my fingers that the gal that is supposed to start my position (I'm filling in and easing the transition) will be unable to start because of her obligations to her current department. If so, it's a bit of a hoop jumping affair, but I will likely be hired on. Of course, there's this *other* position in the company that's opening up soon and I might just be qualified enough for that one...and it pays better. Heh.
And yea, I'm not supposed to know what the other temps make, but *shhh* just don't tell my agency. :P
