Faded Away
The light switches on and there is nothing
Darkness still surrounds me
There is no power to the circuit
No power to make it work
I am alone
Wondering through this deserted house
Feelings of old and memories once joyful now cause pain
There is nothing left here for me
Children have gone away
Friends have moved on
Lovers have come and gone
There is nothing left here for me except pain
The pain of lost love the pain of lost family
I hold in my hand a picture
Faded almost to nothing
I can see the smiling faces of my family
We were once happy here in our home
We had love we had each other
Now with years and miles between us
Things are slowly fading away like the photograph in my hand.
First Meeting
When our lips will first meet
There will be a shock of pleasure that will run through me.
When your hand caresses my soft skin I will quiver with delight.
There will always be our first touch running through my mind
There will always be the first kiss to hold me by
I can feel you coming close to me drawing nearer
Caressing me I need you badly
I want you near please forgive me
I beg for you to enter me
My heart is pounding
My mind aching
My body shaking
Please send me to the place I dream of being
Friendship
Within our hearts and feeble minds we search the world for truth
Meaning in what we say and what we do is what all we want
The search for friendship and love is never ending
We all long for our friends to accept us and our love to grow
Like the northern winds blow and the flowers surely grow
Within our hearts we shall find
The truth for which we seek to find
Seeking truth and happiness is never a choice we should give up
To stop the searching we shall become nothing more than a unhappy hermit by the sea
To enjoy life and enjoy friends is the happiness we wish to find
Enjoy your friends and acquaintances for they may come and go
Quickly within your heart and life then just as quick they can be gone
Grab life with both hands and fly away with the joy you shall receive

The first touch
Spotted you from across the room
I knew in that moment I needed to be near you
With all my being I could feel your eyes on me
Searching for a something to distract me
My hands brushing my hair back pretending not to notice you
My eyes locked on you, My heat racing
Anticipation of the touch to come
Praying in my mind for this to be a dream
Moving closer my pace slowing
My heart and mind now clouded by the sight
The sight of you standing there
Your hand reaches out and mine follows
Moving in slow motion through my mind
Our hands touch my heart skips a beat
The excitement grows stronger making me weak
