The blackest of moons,
still shines shadows on the night
It all seems too soon
hold on with all your might
Walking through the dark
and footsteps in the snow
A memory lighting a spark
of a time I used to know
Running through the rain
drops pouring down my brow.
All these days they seem the same,
I just wonder how?
Waking in the early hours
Before the sun has risen
Loneliness devours
but through it a new hope arisen.
Remember happy memories
before you lost the fight
Forget goodbyes remember replies
Find your inner light
Even through the darkest days
and the coldest of all nights.
There is a love shining just for you
telling you there is a way through.
The blackest of moons,
Will always shine shadows on the night
Bringing hope and happiness
when we are not in the light.
