I am Christian, Conservative-Constitutionalist-Libertarian. I am a Husband and the father of two. I have strong political convictions, but do not vote: Why not? I'll tell you:1. I live in Germany because my wife is German, and comes from a small town. The move to America would have been too big a change for her. 2. I am from Maine, and, as the State of Maine, District 1 is my last home of record in the United States, I am registered as a resident of Maine district 1 for national elections. I am not eligible to vote in local elections.3. If I vote, I vote for candidates that represent my views and beliefs: They are as the name implies, my "Representatives". There are no candidates for national office from the state of Maine who represent me.I am considering voting in the presidential election in 2008, if Ron Paul wins a candidacy. My views:Family Values: Traditional family values, support of the family consisting of a mother, a father, and children. living in love, by Judeo-Christian values. The women shall be women, the men, men. No PC "getting in touch with the feminine side". War on Terror: must be won without regard for PC, whiny worrying about what other countries think. The safety and security of the United States of America and her interests comes first.Freedom of Religion: freedom of expression takes precedence over establishment clause. A high school senior, thanking God at a commencement ceremony, does NOT constitute congressional establishment of religion. and it wouldn't bother me in the least if the first amendment would be modified to be valid only for Judeo-Christian beliefs. The Second Amendment: The one amendment that gives citizens the means to ensure the preservation of the Constitution, and the ability to defend one's self, family, and property from those that would do them harm. All existing laws regulating gun control are unconstitutional.Israel: I am in favor of continuing to support Israel, they are a small, free, democratic land barely holding on, surrounded by enemies who want to see them destroyed. 3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.Genesis 12:3Check out my other writings:My attempt at a serious analysismy rantings and ravingsmy late night musingsMy Space, for what it's worth
