weirdly normal/normally weird.
I'm an artist: writer, painter, poet. seriously a poet?! How anachronistic is that?
I love to travel and have lived in San Francisco, Honolulu, Washington DC, Prague, but now I'm in La La land getting my dee da on.
quick thing about this site. I have ADHD and this shit trips me the fuck out. I feel like I'm in Chuck e cheese trying to keep an eye on the kids I don't have.
I hike and bike and play racquetball--another anachronism--and I seriously loath the gym.
I'm divorced but still very good friends with my ex. I prefer love and acceptance over just about anything else.
I went back and got my BA in English at 45. I was probably the most radical kid in most of my class. What the fuck is going on with kids these days?? Seriously, when I was 20 I was challenging, questioning, digging into everything I could. i was amazed how by the book most of my classmates were.
I have 2 small dogs that are just about the coolest homies on this planet.

Interests
Oops i'm mixing my categories. Oh well. I wonder if I'll get 86'd.
I love art i all it's forms. (I'll put my music i it's proper place) but I LOVE live gigs
I love going to museums, art galleries, movies, plays, comedy and spoken word, I used to emcee a spoken word open mike at a coffee shop-- it was a great experience. I heard so many great pieces as well as learning to articulate out loud my own words.
I worked in restaurants for 20 + years so I guess I'm a foodie.
Despite my artistic inclinations I'm an avid sports fan: Football, baseball, basketball, golf, MMa, are all events I enjoy watching.
besides writing and paining (which I'm self taught and have only been doing it for 2 years), I'm really into collaging. I think it's a lot of fun to "borrow" from others and fuck it up my way... but isn't all art that?
I guess I'll put I love to read since I have a degree in english and all that.
I love nature. In September I took a 3.000 mile drive around California and Oregon visiting and hiking the National Parks. AMAZING.

This could take a while. First I'll mention the greatest live bands I've seen.
