Momentary Muse Today's Posted Poem:
Words seem to fall so short, I don't know which to use
all of them seem so dismal compared with you as my muse
clouding my very judgementand conguering every thought
what small talent I pocess just seems to be for naught
words can never adequately describe a wondrous sunrise
to truly appreciate it we must see it with our own eyes
They can't descibe a symphony to those who can not hear
or the feeling you have from having loved ones so near
They can't describe the sound of songbirds in the skies
or the feeling caused by a newborn when it first cries
They are unable even to descibe the sky's wondrous blue
and each of these fall short of the blessing that is you
I am so consumed with wonderment when you are my muse
that I realize there are no words that I can ever use.
