I believe you don't win arguments by proving that you are right. You truly win arguments by getting your opponent to believe in what you are saying. To often people just try to prove they are right, they don't what to change your mind they just want to be right. If people really believe in something then they would want others to believe it as well.
I also believe that to be a good person you can be nice or even friends with someone that doesn't 100% fit your preconceptions of what is right,wrong,moral or immoral ...ect
