The journey of life is always filled with complications we never see coming, be it physical,emotional or financial. As we learn how to conquer and overcome obstacles in our lives we grow and become adaptive to whatever life throws at us. But there are times when life throws us a curve ball. I am in the process of fighting 3rd stage colon cancer. When are backs are up against the wall we draw strength from a multitude of sources, be it friends, family, or the ones that love us. I fight for all three. We have to endure the pain of telling them because that is the first step. Next we choose how we fight, and knowing that you have people who genuinely have your back, makes it much easier to make the choices needed.I've been part of a awesome lounge for over 5 years, and have close friends I've known for a long time. It's because of them that i choose to fight and i will not stop until this body draws it's last breath. The reason why I'm writing this is because we all need to understand that no matter the situation, we can all overcome any and all obstacles we face. Words; either spoken or written, is a very powerful weapon and if you choose to be quiet then pain is all you will know. So i choose to tell all who care, raise my voice to the heavens, and shout out I SHALL NOT FALL!!!
