I am in my early 40's and single. I have 2 kids, they are living with their father. I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. When I was married I moved around a lot, ex was in the Army. I was raised to be a southern woman, a very sarcastic one though. 
I do have an Irish temper, but it does take a lot to get me angry. (please don't test me though, that is just mean) I flirt a lot too, but don't take me to seriously, it's just for fun. I'm not looking to "hook-up" with anybody, been there done that and got the scars to prove it. I am unemployed, like tons of other people. I hope to be starting back to school soon though. Heaven help me. lol I am hoping to get an Associate's Degree in Business, fingers crossed. I am a "earth mother" or some would say "hippie", and a Wiccan if any of that bothers you then please just move along. If you have questions please ask, I will answer most, and I will let you know if you "crossed the line".

I am a horrible speller. If it wasn't for spell check I would lose my mind trying to look things up. lol Please forgive me if I spell stuff wrong and just know that I try not to.

Interests
I like to read, watch movies, cook (especially bake), play on the net a bit. **hangs head** yes I am a Farmville addict.
Please don't hold that against me though.
Music
Rock - Heavy Metal, Hard, Oldies/classic, soft, new...OK most of them I like. My favorite group is Metallica, but I also like the Beatles, Nickleback (shut up), and others
County - most of these too. I like Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, etc....
Classical - Bach, Beethoven, etc...
Jazz - some
R&B - some
Opera - not so much, I haven't heard one yet that I like.
Movies
Sci-Fi, Horror, Action (or any combo of the three) - these are best seen at the theater, at least the first time anyway.
Drama - sometimes these are best at the theater but most of the time it can wait for the DVD
Comedy, "Chick-Flicks" - 99% of the time I'll wait for the DVD, but first I will watch it on a movie channel or borrow someone's DVD.
My favorites are Sci-fi and horror.
Idols
My daddy and my papaw (grandfather, for the non-southern folks). They have been though so much in their lives and they inspire me to try and do better (not doing too good with that at the moment, but I'm working on it) My dad proved that just because you are "old" doesn't mean you can't go back to school. He was in his middle to late 50's and blind when he went back to school and got his masters. He served in the Army during Vietnam, and in the National Guard during Desert Storm. (He would have retired with them if he hadn't lost his eye sight.) My papaw served in the Air Corps during WWII. He lived through the depression, went to college and raised a family (with my mamaw of course). Even when he retired from his job with the state, he went out and got another job working for the feds, he was in his late 70's or early 80's before he really retired. They taught me to look at all sides of a story and not just one version, that everyone deserves a chance no matter who or "what" they are.
