QUIET


The anger that burns
is silent
my insanity lyes dormant
for awhile
No sadness engulfing
just quiet restless peace
so here I am
with a new life
unfolding infront of me
no fears
to what this road may hold

but I feel stronger now
with only my babies by myside
no man to hold me back
to change this gypsy
My body no longer trembles
at the nightmares
that forever remain
But here I am in my quiet moment

taking each breath
