I have a
crush on someone!
Interests
DJing (i do a weekly industrial/gothic/dark alternative night, and i love it!)
political activism (especially that with an anti-war, anti-capitalist direction...)
people who challenge established norms (on top of all of the various social ills caused by mindless conformity to conventional wisdom that's anything but wise, it's just...BORING!)
Japanese food (my favorite food in the world is Japanese curry rice, and unagi donburi and sushi aren't too far behind)
collectable card games (my favorite ones are Vampire: The Eternal Struggle and Magic: The Gathering)
cats (i'm the happy owner of two)
martial arts (judo and brazilian jiujitsu are my favorites, and i'm also a *huge* fan of mixed martial arts/cage fighting/ultimate fighting type stuff...)
watching TV (i actually don't watch too many shows, but i'm a big fan of Buffy, Angel, Lost...and my favorite show of all time is Doctor Who...)
anime and manga (i like all kinds of stuff from sci-fi to comedies, but in particular i like shoujo - i.e. girly - stuff like Sailormoon, Magic Knight Rayearth, Oh My Goddess...actually the series X (aka X/1999) is my alltime favorite anime/manga...as far as non-Japanese animation goes i really love Invader Zim, The Boondocks, The Simpsons, and South Park)
pro wrestling (i love it - and not just the WWE stuff either. i follow independent wrestling, as well as what's going on in Japan and Mexico...sadly my obsession with this is probably the geekiest of my various geeky interests...)
go (the best board game ever made...)
goth/rivethead/punk fashion... (personally i don't dress too outlandishly these days, most of the time just simple black from head to toe, but it's my preferred aesthetic)
pizza (anchovies, anchovies, you're so delicious...i love you more than all the other fishes! *gives you a stamp on your geek card if you get this reference*)
roleplaying games (especially White Wolf ones like Vampire: The Masquerade)
reading (my favorite author is George Orwell. my favorite work of fiction is 1984, and for non-fiction, it's A People's History of the World by Chris Harman - well worth buying, but available online for free at http://www.istendency.net/node/view/7 )
