HMMmmm??? great !!!!another chance to blow-my-own-horn!!!I aint all that!!Single-Dad, of a 17 year old princess-brat...Carpenter/musician...I live in the wilds of the great white north{which reminds me... I guess it's time I plugged up that air conditioning hole in my igloo}I'm around 5'10" tall.. 185 lbs..NOOO!! I don't have a beer belly tyvm!!!grey blue eyes...brown curly hair..{which in a few more years, I am certain, I should have enough skin up there to start another face}I guess one could say that I have had a few "old-fashioned-moral-values" instilled in me...example...honesty is imperative......I'm a bit of a chivalrous-ass{not a jealous-ass.. though we all have had to experience that at some point in our lives I do believe.I am patriate... believe in peace... but also believe that without "Peace-Keepers", there will be no peace.I have that.."artistic-bent"... LOVE the arts, in all it's wonderous forms...My favorite artists being.. michelangelo, diVinci, camille claudelle, and salvador dali.{quite a range there}.Being a musician/singer songwriter, I like most music, though have opinions on the music world that is not at all flattering towards it.example???it's my opinion that country-music and kareoke, though having it's place, is the cheapest form of musical accomplishment.. really only a poem, set to a 3 chord arrangement...{in country's case... NO musical talent what so ever!!!... so while billions each year is being raked in by these.. self promoting no-talents.. somewhere , the next Beethoven, or Motzart, becomes discouraged , and quits, because he doesn't get the backing or recognition due a person of his calibre..so in a nut shell???those with talents, are being ignored, in order to satisfy the egos of those totally without.THAT , is a travesty..and a solid blow to the solar-plexus of music. Then there is rap...though it is a representation of todays youth in society...it is just one long run on sentence, dubbed into a beat box, and simple bass line riff...maybe if they went to school and learned something, they wouldn't be so bitter, and violent???Might take care of that one long run on sentence thing as well, with a little education, in english???SEEEEE?? Opinionated as hell!!!Tough !! To me , the music industry is a joke... and music in general has de-evolved as a result.Don't expect any Motzarts to suddenly appear out of that bunch!OK I feel better now.lolanywhoooooooo!!!!drop me a line or something.lets chat!!

Interests
Interests... {I hope there is room} I'll start with a former interest, that was cut short,(damned insurance companies are sneeky!!!) I hang-glided for a while... loved the exhileration... the butt-clenching-terror when you first take flight... the euphoric sensations as you bank, and find yourself riding the wind... then that same.. even more inTENse, butt-clenching, as you realise that now you HAVE to land this thing!!!! They caught me.. So a clause was added to my policy... I simply took up my old athletic passion, {along with the arts, and wood which, at this time were both full-blown-passions... (this was before I combined the two)}... I went back to free-climbing. I was once asked why I would climb up a 300 foot rock face without ropes... I really was unable to answer right away... after scanning my memory it came to me ... "It's because I'm afraid of heights" is what I said in reply. lol It sounds crazy.. but I am still afraid of heights.. which makes me a damned good free climber. Reading has been a passion since earliest recollection, as is writing. At 13 I won my first of 3 music scholarships... learned to read and write music... and wrote my first song... which was more or less a poem, put to a three chord progression {the three chords that I had learned by watching, during rehearsals, the guitar players in the band I had formed, }... I suppose it falls under the characterist, "country tune"...{no ex wives, no dogs, or horses.. though there was an eagle mentioned, no pick-up trucks} I love to fish, hike, sled, and watch the sun set. I love nature.. period. I have a thirst for information that has not subsided since I was around 10 yrs old... so I read .. pretty much religiously... I can't really go too long, without some influx of info. I love poetry, have read pretty much all the classics...{am reading hugos' les miserables, again, and La Morte D' Arthur, at the moment} My favorite poet is Ben Jonson, {one of willy shakespears' buddies}... I love wood... and the beautiful things that can be createdwith, and by it. Though rarely is the time I partake... I do enjoy a glass of wine, wrapped in warm fluffy bath-robes, curled up in front of a fire place... ...or sitting and standing{I stand alot]... around a camp-fire... watching the flick-licking flames reaching, and laughing at the outrageous banter that ensues at those times when good people gather, remotely, beneath the sky, and share a few beverages, and feastings, where the monkeys on ones back, are left far behind in the city. {I personally live far from the city lights} I love sitting on the shore of that greatest of lakes, as the sun sets... love watching the stars blink on, one at a time... till the glassy water reflects the trillions of blinking-suns and the Aurora Borealis does her dance accross the night-sky. I love discovery, and adventure.. challenge, and my country. most of all... I love to see my Princess-brat smile...(which thankfully, is not all that hard to do) and love knowing that the other Princess...{the brats' artsy-fartsy older sister}...is on course and progressing at that incredible rate that defies logic.
Music
At the other end of this link, is a few old songs that I recorded, some time ago.. Me myself, a couple of accoustic guitars, a crappy 15 dollar mic, and a recording program that I had NO idea how to use properly. Hence, the crappy sound, and quality. Not all the songs work, on that page, but I think enough do, that one can get the gist, or at least some of what it is I do, and how I do it. Hardest, was having to get a decent rendition of the tune intended, in one take... no splicing skills involved here, nor fancey "tweeking-of the-flat-spots-in-the-voice", as , like I said I had no idea, how to operate recording programs. Still, if at any point you listen... and smile slightly.. or find anything reflective in the words, or the expression of them, then my job is done. {sorry it's not tagged, and therefore one has to copy&paste the addy into their brouser,to get there} http://guitarman.bestmusicpages.com//songs/songs.html .......................................
