I may not look like much, but I'm pro at pretending to be a pirate...

Who am I? I'm James, Jim to my friends. The Trick Monkey. A jack-of-all-trades. Smokes like Marley, and drinks like Best (I don't really drink...) Mediocre musician, skater, artist, writer, dancer, film buff, critic, etc. Dark horse poker player, though. Laid-back kinda guy, never outwardly judgemental but keeps an open mind about everyone and everything (up to a point...) Hates racists, bigots, homophobes, or anyone who prejudges aggressively. There are no words to adequately desribe me. None that can fully do me justice and damn me both at the same time. I am unlike any person you will ever meet, and yet, I'm exactly like every person you've ever met. I'm both a shadow hiding in the light, and a light, swallowed in infinate shadow. Masters of language like Tolkien or Hemmingway would probably describe my mind as a blossoming fireworks, lighting up a dreary nights sky to leave a searing trail of elegant light across the mind, leaving nought but a fading memory as we wait patiently for the next to arrive with a cheery bang. They'd be close to the mark, too. I have a mind that doesn't like staying in one place, but when it does, the thoughts that issue forth will be big; they will be bright; and they will all too soon be forgotten when the next one shows up. But other than that, I am your average, run-of-the-mill college drop out; very easy-going, relaxed (to the point of verging on terminally lazy...), over-educated (I like to think) on pop-culture and random trivial knowledge, and very much a free spirit. But, in no way, am I a hippie... I just want to make that abundantly clear. People may judge me as being full of myself, or opinionated, but they're just angry cause 9 times out of 10, I'll be right. If you haven't met me, you'll never fully understand, and if you have... well............ enough said!! Who am I? I'm James, Jim to my friends. If you have to ask the question, you'll never fully understand the answer...

I admire a lot of people. My friends, because they deserve my admiration (you know who you are...), anyone who has the courage to defend themselves and their beliefs. But, if I had to name a few... David Attenborough (the man's seen and done it all), Kevin Smith (for showing us our dreams are attainable), Mischa Barton (not really a hero, but I'd still love to meet her) and on that note, Rachel Leigh Cook and Keegan Connor Tracey, Johnny Depp (awesome screen actor), George Lucas (to shake his hand and punch him inna face), Jet Li and Tony Jaa (for being able to kick any ass on the planet), Chow Yun Fat (Hong Kong's gift to the action genre), Marc Silvestri + Michael Turner (and all the artists at Top Cow and Image, cause they're "da bomb"!), Jackie Chan (can you blame me?), Takeshi Kitano (Japan's answer to Tarantino), and Terry Pratchett (just because...)
