Okay, My name is Tish...and yes that is my real name. Kthnx. So as you may have seen, I'm the stereotype goth. I label myself because well: I can. Simple as that. But I know it's just a label, nothing more. What I wear, how I do my hair, talk, walk, that is all me. I've no special traits to make me stand out above the rest other than waking up in the morning and doing what is always natural. At least I know who I am and what a label means before I considered myself anything at all beyond human. But more or less: I'm simply MEI won't change who I am for you or anyone else (Dear God, my mother has tried and still tries). I wear what I want, listen to what I want, write what I want. I will always be who I am.I may wear black lipstick and my closet is full of black clothing (because it's all I own that looks good on me), but I can get dirty. I like to garden, though I've no garden to dig in yet. I love to cook and bake. I love to get my handmade fishing pole and go sit and fish with my family for a few hours, my feet dangling in the water. I'm goth but I still love doing all the things I did as a child. What is it with humanity? Why does everyone look upon everyone by their looks alone and not by who they are? You could end up with the worst possible case of psycho in the world by looking to their face and skipping the person behind the mask. Look a little deeper.Yes I'm opinionated ^.^Be interesting: I've the attention span of a dead ant. I need to be amused to be happy..I'm human, I'm a daughter, a good friend, an aunt, a sister, a granddaughter, a niece, a great niece, and I'm gothic.My life is my friends and family. I was not spoiled in the traditional money way but in how I was brought up and with whom. For that richness, I am very grateful and continue to tell them that. {So don't assume that because I'm "gawf" that I have no love or respect for my family and friends. Stop being Hollywood junkies and think for yourself.}I write poetry, stories and occasionally attempt lyrics. I live off of my poetry. And I plan to publish a book of them if I can find a place that will understand the darker side of me. Words are my life, my passion, my everything. They rescue me from the deepest depths of my being. I like all kinds of music but I prefer metal. There's just that adrenaline rush in metal that other music does not give.
