Howdy all. I am a southern country gal that has 3 grown children and 5 grandkids ranging in age from 5years to 16 years. I live in Louisiana and have all of my life. People have asked me if I would ever move out of Louisiana and I tell them "nope, I have too much swamp water in my veins to ever leave Louisiana." LOL I love my state.My life has been a very interesting ride for me and mine. Two marriages, one long term relationship, and now I have finally found my soul mate. His name is David and he has 4 grown daughters and a 6 year old son, who is just like my own.My children are the lights of my life and bring me joy all the time. They have had a rough row to hoe, but are all the better and wise for that. Ours is a very close and loving relationship and I would not change a thing about our lives except for: LOL A few minor things I guess. And now my grandchildren are the center of my world. Four boys that are characters and who love with all their hearts and a girl that is a spoiled rotten tom boy or femme fatal when she really wants to be. She is the 5 yr old LOL I am just a plain ole country girl, laid back and loving the simple things in life. God, country, family, friends, animals, money, shopping etc.

Reading, dancing, playing with grandkids, watching and snuggling with my soul mate, window shopping with my daughters, having coffee with my best friend Debbie, watching a disney movie, an action adventure movie, a Christmas movie, going to the theatre and watching a new movie, sitting in the dark and watching the Christmas tree lights blink on and off, hearing my grandchildrens laughter, having my Dad hug me, visiting with my brothers and their wives, writing my stories, getting hugs and kisses from my grandkids and meeting new people and making new friends. Well I think that about covers it for now.
Movies
Now this is fun. I love movies. Any and all kinds except for the really gorrrrrrrry ones, or the ones with sex all over them. My favoites are Christmas, family, action/adventure, mystery, comedy, western, musical, disney, animal, sci-fi, and kids.
For instance: "Miracle on 34th Street", "It's a Wonderful Life", "Star Wars" all of them, "Happy Feet", "Die Hard" all of them, Jerry Lewis movies, John Wayne movies, "Love Bug", "Herbie", and many, many more.
Idols
Well, I guess this is supposed to be something like stars, singers, and such. I have no "idols" in those areas, but I do like a lot of the country and rock and roll singers, but I am from the 50's and like the older ones. Hank Williams Sr., Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presly, etc. My idols per say are my Dad, who is 85 yrs. young and still goes dancin once a week, my oldest brother who has emphazema and his wife who has MS and they both face each day as a miracle God gave them, my soul mate's sister who has cerabal palsy and has a 22 yr old daughter and a 16 yr old son who both have the same disease and she meets each new day with a gusto for life and never lets her illness or theirs get the best of her.
And lets not forget my favorite of all: GOD
