I am 28 years old, married, and love to meet new people. I am currently serving in Iraq with the U.S. ARMY and should hopefully be returning home for good around March. I really feel the need to tell everyone out there not to believe everything you hear in the news. Until you've actually been here, don't feel like you have the knowledge to make an educated decision on whether what we are doing here is right or wrong. Personally I have lost several good friends over here, but I really do believe in the cause and believe that they died in support of that cause to help our nation. If you asked soldiers here, I would stake my life on the fact that 95% or more think the exact same thing. Being here I have seen both the good and the bad. But I will tell you from personal experience, the good we are doing here outweighs the bad by about 100 times. Other than that, I'm really just a people person. I love to hang out with friends and have a good time. If something sounds like fun, I'll probably do it.

Interests
I like to hang out with friends whenever I get the chance to. Whether it's party, travel for vavations, swimming, or whatever, I am just a people person.
I also like being a member of the U.S. ARMY National Guard. I devote alot of attention to my military career as well. Right now I am on my second deployment in the last 4 years. I am curently stationed at Balad Iraq, which is just north of Baghdad.
Basically, I'm still a free spirit. If it sounds like fun, I'm probably in.

Movies
I haven't seen any of the new flicks yet since I'm in Iraq, but I do like anything that is Comedy or Action. Thinks like Super Troopers, Larry the Cable Guy : Health Inspector, and We Were Soldiers are awesome. Yes, I am even capable of sitting and watching the chick flicks.
If I had to pick a favorite, I would probably say Pure Country. I really liked that one.
Idols
I would say the people that I respect the most are those that have the courage to stand up for what is right even though it is not the most popular thing to do. For example, those that have the courage to say that they have not been to Iraq so don't have a proper foundation to judge whether it is the right of wrong thing to do.
