I have found myself here at the age of 39, knowing that I have baggage, but wanting to find happiness. Nothing extreme but for someone to say that they don’t have any drama would only be lying. I am extremely honest and it tends to be a downfall in relationships for me but I will not sacrifice who I am to be with someone. I want to be able to say I am going away for the weekend and know that I have a strong relationship with someone that they do not feel the need to be jealous about it. I love all types of music, from rock to pop to country to rap. No exaggeration either. I am a Washington Redskins fan and enjoy watching football even when my team is not playing. I love a good horror movie but I don’t limit myself to them. I can dress up for a night on the town, throw on my sneakers and a pair of jeans to go shoot some pool or go bowling, or just throwing on something to lounge around the house in (preferably a comfy pair of pajamas) and kicking back on the couch watching tv. It’s not about the money spent going out either….I know how to have a good time on a very limited budget.

I often ask my friends why I can’t seem to find the right man for me….and please notice I said the right man for me….Not Mr. Right!! Well maybe its that he hasn’t come around yet. I know that I have a lot to offer. I am fun, crazy, smart and cute (well that’s what I am told). I know when to act my age but know when not too also. I know how to cook, well, I have two kids and they aren’t dead yet so I do pretty good, I think. There is so much to me and just want to find that someone that likes me for me.

If you are looking for a one night stand….you are not for me. If you are looking for someone with no kids…..you are not for me. I have two teenagers, I am the guardian of my son’s girlfriend (whom recently got married to my son) and am a grandmother to a one year old little girl. I want to start enjoying MY life…..with the huge bumps and turns that life throws at me…..and find that someone that doesn’t mind all the speed bumps on my road of life because without those speed bumps, my life would be so ordinary and who wants ordinary.

And, by the way, I have tattoos…..9 to be exact and want more…..so if you don’t like tattoos…..you are not for me.

If you are still awake after reading all that, then maybe it’s a good sign. There is so much more to me, just ask. I am taking a chance here…..and apparently you are too. I do know what I am looking for and if you aren’t it….at least I will be honest with you and let you know…..what’s the worst that can happen, I might not find the one but I may find some new friends.
