BOOKS: I'm a compulsive reader. Plato's Republic, Dante's Inferno, Milton's Paradise Lost, both Shelly's, all of the works of the Bard, The Hitchhiker's Guide series, Sartre's No Exit, nearly all of Heinlein's works, Asimov, and the list goes on and on. Anything by Chomsky or the Dali Lama.
MOVIES: The Notebook, All of the Monty Python Movies, most dramas, and alot of sci-fi/fantasy fiction. Nothing too corny though, unless its Rocky Horror.
Music
MUSIC: I like classical, Foo Fighters, Greenday, Cake, Weird Al, Panic at the Disco, Nirvana, and too many others to list. I have a very limited tolerance for country, so you probably won't find any on my mp3 player. LOL
