I live in a small rural village in Northumberland UK. I have worked in education all my life and am still finding out new things every day about how we all learn best! Married with 2 grown up kids. Enjoy travel and meeting with people. It's people that make life what it is. People say I have a very positive, encouraging and supportive outlook on life. I don't give up on people easily but don't have time for extremists. Life isn't black and white to me - it's shades of grey.I have a lifelong interest in and love of music. Goes way back to my early childhood! I don't play musical instuments - though I am toying with the idea of learning to play a lovely Fender acoustic guitar that I acquired earlier in the year! Anyone offer any tips? I am a voulunteer management committee member at the biggest music development agency in the North East of England - GENERATOR NE LTD. I help out lots of people who are trying hard to make their way in the music/entertainment business. Interests
MUSIC - wide and eclectic taste! NEW music is what I look out for though. A good song and a strong melody will always capture my interest!
SPORT - Newcastle United is the team I watch most often though I am a Brummie by birth and always look out for Birmingham City results! (my younger brother is a Villa fan). I sat next to Andrew Johnson's dad at the Newcastle v Everton match. Smashing bloke and Andrew played well but thankfully didn't score against us!
GARDENING - Our gardens at home have transformed over the last few years. It's my wife Sue who has most of the good ideas and gets me to help make things happen!
GOOD FOOD - I have been spoiled throughout my life as my wife is a wonderfully talented cook! I particularly like Japanese tepan-yakki food. Fresh, well prepared food with taste is what I look for.
TRAVEL - I enjoy visiting other parts of the world. I haven't ventured to many places yet but intend to continue my trek around this wonderful world we live in.
