I'm cynical, but very cheerful about it. I'm not really into small-talk, but that's the language the world speaks, so I speak it too, although perhaps a bit clumsily. My life is pretty simple--I enjoy my retail job, though it utilizes only a slender fraction of my intellect, and I enjoy my dogs, my friends, booze, and music. I also enjoy images--you know, all kinds of art, photography, porn, cartoons, cool shit the sky does, the human face, and so forth. I like to look at things, and sometimes I like to think about them.


At first I am incredibly shy, and not in that sweet, charming way many girls are shy--I come across as a smug, arrogant bitch; maybe that's because I am somewhat of a smug, arrogant bitch. But my overriding instinct is to be kind and humble. I guess it's possible to be both.


Right now I'm at that stage in my life where I'm digging staying up late, drinking, and bullshitting with my fellow thinkers/artists/scholars/assholes. I don't really want much more than that. I'm in that stage of me life that i'm in a mood to mess someone up, not because I'm angry but because even at 26yrs old I don't know any better.


Other nuts and bolts, because some people give a shit about these things:


1) I swear often. I also drink and speak frankly of things ladies aren't supposed to speak of. (Seriously. Nothing's more bad-ass than a person who can talk frankly about sex without desperation or agenda.) If you like your womenfolk demure you should perhaps head to another profile.

2) Anytime anyone puts some shit in their profile about, "oh, I'm an enigma wrapped in a mystery", I'm like, "shut the f*ck up". But honestly? I'm coming to terms with the fact that each time I try to succinctly describe myself I instead contradict myself. A few of the major conflicting traits: I'm both brainy and ditzy. I oscillate effortlessly between the deep and the frivolous, as well as boldness and timidity. I am fiercely loyal towards my friends but talk shit about strangers constantly. And so forth.

3) I love everybody. I love this world. I love being here and living in this body. But never, never mistake me for an optimist.
