Why didn't the US and coalition forces complete the job in 1991?? Some say that it was because the objective of pushing the Iraqi Regime out of Kuwait was why we were there. I was there and think that the objective should have been to get Saddam before he killed any more people. I am not advocating war, but, I do wish that we had been allowed to complete the mission as we saw it. Now, we have troops dying every day and it is only going to get worse.
I feel for the families of the soldiers who have been killed or injured. I also feelfor the millions of Iraqi citizens that actually want us to help them and are afraid to say so. I wish that we had completed the mission.. Maybe I wouldn't feel so guilty when I read about someone getting killed that wouldn't have been there if I had been allowed to do my job. PEACE OUT!!
