just guy same as everyone really i was born at a very early age and was slapped by the midwife not beacause i was not breathing, she just didnt like me. born in the south of england but moved to the north - God's own county of Yorkshire - so then i spent next 4 years of "you talk funny" from other kids. so i learnt how to speak "yorkshire". then my parents divorced and i moved back down south so then i spent next 4 years of "you talk funny" from other kids. aged 15 was told by the school that i was too stupid to stay on to take my exams and had to leave - i dont think this was a good conifidence booster to start adult life with. age of 16 i decided to move back to yorkshire to live with my father. as i am the only boy with 2 older sisters it was a culture shock when my i found my father had remarried to a woman with 5 sons. aged 17 and 6 months i joined the fine english regiment The Light Infantry spent 6 years 49 days and 3 hours under the colours. served in Ulster (please dont hold it against me). aged 22 left army and worked in factories aged 32 put myself through university and went into IT aged 49 found out i had bladder cancer. aged 51 recovered from illness and i am restarting work at end of july. and the story has not ended yet
