I'm filthy rich, funny, flirtatious, philanthropic, flawless and facetious. I'm also philosophical, fervent, focused, fickle, and funereal (but working on it). Ok..so I'm not filthy rich...except in my alternate reality
The first thing people notice: My eyes...and the crows feet around them when I smile. Others will notice the slight limp in my gait from Spina Bifida when I'm tired. I am quite introverted until I get to know someone, but usually quick to crack a joke (I am a cunning linguist). I have learned several different languages and sometimes can think of a word in a foreign language before I can think of it in English.
I work remotely, mostly at night...but soon switching to become a day-walker. Going to need a lot of sunscreen. I can work from anywhere with a decent Internet connection. I wonder how good the wifi is on the beaches of Thailand...

Interests
Back after a several year hiatus. Partially due to health issues, partially because I thought I'd finally found "the one". Dealing with the first proved the folly of believing in the second. "In sickness and in health..." are just words to some, but is the true strength of a lasting relationship. Even weak friendships are torn apart.
But that was then. Makes no sense to look back. Hope springs eternal. I've looked death in the face and laughed. I'm tenacious, stubborn, and ready to try again. Maybe she's here. Maybe I'll stumble and trip into her at the bowling alley. Maybe she's in an alternate universe and I'll have to wait until quantum entanglement becomes more than a theory. Perhaps I'll find someone to spend the next dozen (or more) years with and that will be good enough for both of us.
