Music has shaped my life, and I'd have to say it's the most important thing I have. I've been skateboarding for 23 years and still attempt to do so, even though all of the injuries have caught up to me. I'm a whore for records, and by that I mean vinyl - my tastiest piece cost me more than I pay for rent. Hand grenades, assault rifles and various other ordinance I find very sexy. Been playing gee-tar for about 20 years, and have played in many bands as guitarist, guitarist/singer. etc, etc...now I just sing when in a band. I'm a writer and have been published in several regional and national publications for my opinionated essays/rants and music reviews - a published collection is in the works. Tattoos are alright - been getting drilled since I was 14, and I seem to have collected one or two over the years. I dig fishing, camping and shooting and other kinds of outdoorsy crap.

I'm a bartender by trade, and have been in the industry for roughly 16 years. I own my own booking, promotion and management business, and have been very successful with it - however I am currently on hiatus while I relocate to NOLA, and get my shit set up there. I also dabble in computer geekery, and it has proved to be a good way to sustain myself whilst not slingin' booze. Other interests include; martial arts, (good) film, comic books, Oakland Raiders, Oakland A's, SACTO Kings, Michigan Wolverines Football, It's Alwyas Sunny In Philadelphia, politics, psychology, philosophy, sociology, history and all sorts of other dorky shit that most people don't give a fuck about.

I'd type out a list, but there is so much . . . it gets rather obnoxious. Anyhow, I listen to all kinds of shit, mostly hardcore and old punk, but I also like a lot of progressive/psychedelic/experimental/heavy type stuff (Isis, Mare, Neurosis and their ilk), industrial, doom, sludge, grind, noise, stoner, fuzz . . . jazz, blues, bluegrass, rockabilly. I listen to a little bit of metal, but again you are generally gonna find me listening to hXc, or something off the hydrahead roster.
