I split from my marriage about a year and a half ago. While I am not necessarily focused on finding a long-term partner right now I do miss female companionship. I would love to find someone who is in a similar place as I am seeking a similar situation. I am not interested in playing a dating game where we try to measure each other's qualities to see if we fit some perceived perfect model of a mate. On the other hand I would love to find a really cool girl who just likes to hang out and spend time together enjoying each other's company and let any relationship develop naturally to where it takes us. If that ends up just friends that's cool. If it develops naturally into something more that's cool too. I don't want to lay any expectations out there, but I do miss female companionship at all levels so whatever you are comfortable with, so am I.

I want to build a relationship that perhaps is different than most out there. I do hope to find someone that I can eventually call my soul mate with whom I can spend the rest of my life, but I don't want to force it. I believe the only way to find a sustainable long-term relationship is to build it on a foundation of friendship and mutual respect. I want to build a friendship and let the "romance" part build on top of that naturally if that is where it goes. If it's right, it will go there. If it isn't then just being friends is awesome too!

I firmly believe that each person should be able to be who they are and if you want to be with that person, then you should love them for who they are and not what you want them to be. I also tend to lean toward more an Eastern point of view toward life. I'm not Buddhist but I tend to agree with much of the way they think of life. I look at life as a process and its all about the journey. I don't focus too much on the future and certainly not on the past. I'm all about living the moment and making the best of it. The past is about learning how to live in the present. It's all experience and none of it is worth being angry or resentful about. Every moment of life is a piece of information that can be used to make the current moment better.

I have a nearly 4 year old daughter I spend a lot of time with. I split custody 50% of the time. She's definitely Daddy's little girl. :)

Also, I prefer younger women, so I'd prefer 40 and under. You don't need a perfect body, but please be proportional and cute. I really am not attracted to BBW type or overly overweight girls. sorry. I could care less if you have a few extra pounds especially if you are an active and attractive individual. In fact I actually prefer curves.

My normal schedule usually requires working out for 2-3 hours after work most days. But now that I've completed my Ironman I can relax my training commitment. If nothing is going on I will train but if one of you awesome girls out there want to do something, let's go! However on the days I have my daughter I usually don't work out after work, so if you don't mind children we can hang out together and then after I put her to bed we can maybe watch a movie, drink a glass of wine, talk about things, play a game, etc. Weekends I do train as well but I have more free time. And I can always get a babysitter. :)
