I recall most of those names from when I was a kid in FL back in the mid '50s.Dad probably caught most of them, but I was too little to tag along. When I fished one day in '79 with my brother (we were near Mt. Dora, FLin tidal fresh water) we caught a small ray and some bluegill sized fishand a few crabs. That's my experience with FL fishing. :-)

Ahh. I'm in Maryland where we have bass, bluegills, sunnies, channel cats, bullheads, eels, goggle-eyes, carp and suckers. At least in the creeks I can get too. Sometimes I find trout and pike in some ponds or small lakes. Never seen a snook before. Pretty fish.
