Interests
As with my music, I also have diverse interests. I am a fangeek and a gamer (tabletop, no video or computer games, please). I have a strong interest in the sciences, particularly the more esoteric branches of physics.
I like sewing, especially costuming, and taking pictures (I won't say photography yet, that will come with time).
I also have a knack for brewing mead. Currently I have on three 1-gallons, cherry, grape, holly berry, one 2-gallon, pear, five 3-gallon, lemon-lime, lemon-ginger, maple-blueberry, strawberry, and apple (made with a varietal called the Viking).
I'm slowly learning about gardening, and would like to attempt to grow most of my own vegetables next year (gods willing). That depends on how many containers I can get a hold of...
Music
I have an interest in anything from classical to heavy metal, traditional Celtic folk and most things in between. There isn't much I don't like, though country and rap are probably the closest. I'd have to say my favorite artists are, and in no particular order, Queensryche, Al Stewart, Jethro Tull/Ian Anderson, Pink Floyd, KISS, Loreena McKennit, Enya, John Denver and the Moody Blues. I did say diverse, right? I also like soundtracks, particularly instrumental, and SF/Fantasy (I am a fangeek)
