Interests
I try to take an interest in everything. I'm all ecclectic like that.
While I love being outdoors and doing all kinds of nature type things, unfortunately military service is hard on the body and my arthritis has killed a lot of those activities. Hiking, mountain biking, camping, skiing, walking. Some I still enjoy, some I cannot.
I am a voracious reader and movie goer. Both I picked up from my mom. If you put it within arms reach, I'll read it. Everything from Stephen King to Ann Rule. And it doesn't always have to be good.
By the same token, I'll watch just about anything. I am a B-movie freak so the crappier and cheesier the better. While I love to be scared in the theater, it just doesn't happen anymore. The last time that I was truly scared in a movie theater was Poltergeist. When you see things like The Exorcist, The Omen and such with your mom, it kinda makes you immune to the crap they put out today.
Even so, I've been known to see as many as 4 or more movies in a single day, at the theater.
Please keep in mind that I am also a science geek. So not only can I keep up an intelligent conversation, I can bore the crap out of you in an instant.
Music
I listen to anything and everything.
Some of my favorite artists include; George Strait, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Buckcherry, Bloodvoid, Orgy, Prodigy, plus pretty much any 80's music.
Video Games
While I'm not a hardcore gamer, I did grow up with an Atari 2600, so I do have a bit of gaming blood in my veins.
I prefer strategy and RPG games as they tend to be less aggravating. I like FPS and fighters but they tend to get my ire up fast and then things get broken, and who wants that.
My PS2 took a nosedive when I accidentally dropped my TV on it and I've already gone through one PSP. I think with another price drop it will be time to go ahead and pick up a Wii.
