I have lived in Austin pretty much all of my life, as my Dad was the original director for the music show, "Austin City Limits." As a result, I hung around the music clubs since I was a tiny thing, and learned a lot about music, and the people who play it, and revere it. I love jazz, classical, blues, dixie, thrash, cow-punk, hard rock, metal, some country, and just about everthing else. I mostly like live music, but also enjoy techno; I guess it's because I love to dance. I enjoy nature, long hikes, camping, and I am an avid reader. I was a creative writing major in college, and I like suspense-mysteries, historical novels, non-fiction, and I like so many authors that there's not enough room to even start naming names. My husband builds movie sets for the movie union, but he mostly works for Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino here in Austin at Rodriguez's personal studios. I like horror/gory films the most, but it's hard to find people to go with me!
